This program is focused on providing a foundation education in the arena of business administration with an added orientation to Entertainment and Music Business.
As a result the student who is accepted benefits from both course work in business … plus the visual and audio arts and Internet technology. A unique component in the program is hands-on work in audio mixing and production. This experience will allow the graduate a broader range of sensitivity to the needs of those in entertainment and music arenas. As a result, the graduate should be able to provide additional value to his or her business know-how.
This program combines the virtues of a business education with the front office need for a creative approach to using the commercial, digital arts. The program is designed to orient the successful graduate toward the creative edge.

Program Goal: The graduate of this program is prepared for a foundation support role in business and business communications with an added specialization in entertainment and music business support. This includes an understanding of creating a business model supported by an accounting and finance component plus designing for sales and marketing. In addition, the graduate gains foundation know-how in audio studio and audio post production. The potential for a future entrepreneurial role is impacted through outcomes in advertising and self promotion. Foundation level job opportunities may include: Assistant Audio Studio Manager.
