A "HIGH END" ANIMATION PROGRAM

This above-all-other programs is designed to take the student from foundation study in digital animation to "High End" animation software and production know-how. DIGITAL ANIMATION is a creative as well as a technique oriented program for the dedicated individual.

The student grows through creativity courses that include the development of original storyboards, drawing and designing for animation, 3D modeling, audio for animation and animation techniques for web sites. Emphasis is placed on human form and animal form and motion as a part of building character animation skills.

Software included is based on the essential components of Alias MAYA taught in a "High End/TM" setting. The program progresses through a series of application projects using MAYA modules. Students will create a portfolio reel of essential images and animations. This 60 class week program (days or 80 weeks evening) is the prerequisite for advanced study in the Motion Graphics/Digital Compositing and Digital Animation Production programs at the School.

A key component of the program is 2D animation for website development and production... plus audio & video production for Internet applications.This study adds to career planning options ... and support self promotion efforts.
